Mayonnaise:

Mayonnaise is known for killing lice. School-going children are very much prone to getting lice. Since mayonnaise is a mixture of lemon juice or vinegar, egg yolk and oil kill lice.

You might be wondering how to apply mayonnaise to hair. It is quite simple. All you need to do is apply mayonnaise to your hair, scalp, neck, and the area behind the ears well with mayonnaise and cover it with the help of a polythene bag or a shower cap. Wait for 8 hours before you wash your hair. Use shampoo to wash your hair and rinse well with water.

Baking soda:

You don’t know, but baking soda plays a vital role in killing cockroaches. To kill cockroaches spreading germs and bacteria inside your house, you need to mix equal quantities of sugar and baking soda in a dish.

Mix them well and keep the container somewhere you feel cockroaches coming from. The sugar will attract the cockroaches as they get closer to sweet things and consume them. When they consume the mixture, baking soda in the mixture makes them thirsty, and they end up drinking water.

Once they drink water, baking soda reacts with water and creates gas which bursts their stomach. However, the fellow cockroaches feed on the dead cockroaches, and they also get the taste of baking soda and ultimately die.

One precautionary measure that you must take during the entire process is to keep the sugar and baking soda mixture away from the reach of kids and pets.

Red wine vinegar:

Are there too many flies in your house? Why not use red wine vinegar because flies love wine. The process is quite simple. You have to mix two tablespoons of red wine and ½ tablespoon of dishwashing liquid.

Mix both of them well. Keep the mixture in a place where the flies visit the most. Make sure that you mix the entire mixture gently, preventing the bubbles from forming. Flies will smell the wine and will drink the mixture for sure. Once they drink the mixture, they will instantly die because the dishwashing liquid will act as a poison.

Windex:

When you have Windex at home, why do you need to opt for pesticides? Windex is a household cleaner that kills bugs quite effortlessly. The best thing about Windex is that it is considered safe for human beings, while it is highly dangerous for bugs. Keep the solution in your reach, and wherever you see a bug, spray it over, and the bugs die instantly.

Whether it is a spider or an ant, Windex kills any insect. However, Windex is not a permanent solution to kill the ants because the ants breed quickly and do not take Windex back to their nest.
